HELI AB

Our cooperation with Heli AB forms the basis of our operations. The company runs Commercial Air Transport (CAT) with the helicopter type AS 350 B2 according to JAR-OPS 1-3. The AS 350 B2 helicopter is ideal for heli-skiing in terms of flying characteristics in high alpine environments and capacity in relation to number of passengers. Personnel in leading flight positions have long, solid experience from various flying missions. Most pilots have more than 3,000 flying hours behind them.

Björkliden Mountain Village

Björkliden Fjällby, our base of operations, is beautifully situated, wrapped in the impressive mountains of Europe’s last wilderness and with superb views over Lapporten and Torneträsk. At 200 km north of the Arctic Circle and with humane temperatures, one can experience midwinter Aurora Borealis and midnight sun. This is due to the Gulf Stream, about 40 km west, which warms year round. With Björkliden’s location, accessibility and personal character, it’s natural for us to offer our services to our mutual guests.
